Compare Zunelle vs. dermal fillers
The type of hyaluronic acid used
The type of HA used in dermal filler injections is thicker and more viscous than the runny consistency of Zunelle injections.
Zunelle and dermal fillers work differently
The HA in dermal fillers pretty much stays in the place it was injected to provide the contouring effect. With Zunelle, the HA starts to disperse underneath the skin, spreading its glowy moisturizing magic across the whole face, and neck.
Zunelle and dermal fillers have different treatment areas
Dermal filler treatments target specific areas of the face – the cheeks, deep wrinkles, nose and lips. But with Zunelle, the treatment isn’t restricted to just one spot. What Zunelle actually does is plump, refresh and tighten the WHOLE face or neck.
Benefits of Zunelle and dermal fillers are different
Dermal fillers are used for facial contouring and replacing lost volume due to aging. With Zunelle, it is like taking a really hydrating moisturiser but instead of slathering it on top of your skin, it is injected into your skin, producing immediate and longer lasting benefits from the inside, as it makes your skin supple, intensely moisturized and rejuvenated.
How long does the procedure take?
The total treatment duration, including preparation and application of topical anesthesia could take 1 hour, give or take 15 minutes.
Can I go back to work after treatment?
Most patients can continue with normal activities right after the procedure, although some may experience temporary itching, redness and swelling on injection sites, which will subside in 1 to 2 days.
What needs to be done after treatment?
- Make-up should not be worn for 12 hours.
- Aspirin, alcohol and vigorous exercise should be avoided for 1 to 2 days.
- Avoid sun bathing, and extremes of heat or cold for 14 days post-treatment.
- Apply daily DermaPro UV Milk or 360 Sunscreen one day after the procedure.
Note that there is no need to massage the injection points where tiny lumps can be seen. These product ‘deposits’ will settle usually within hours.
